Calm my heart, it weeps for tomorrow
It no longer hums my childhood’s
First loves;
It cannot dance the sweet sway of
Youthfulness,
It no longer carries me to dawn or
Dusks,
It cannot pump, please or skip
At a roosters song or the whisper of
Moonlight’s rise above dangling stars.
Calm my heart, call it back home to Eternity
Where it all began.
